Was a few years ago now, 1994 !!!

I passed my driving test in a 1.6 DGT SX Tipo

I failed it the first time around in a pug 205 diesel (driving school)

2nd time around was in my mums 1990 Tipo

Looking back, I guess it was in the bag. Down in exeter, not sure if this is the same elsewhere, all the examiners leave the building at the same time with their victims. My examiner looked across the car park at the assembled cars and said, 'Ah, I can see which car is yours'!

His first comment was, 'hmmm, this is comfortable' while looking across at another examiner in a pug 205!

The test commenced. All was well, until we got to the reversing around the corner exercise.

I will never forget the look on that examiners face, he heard a whiring, then saw the near side mirror moving so that I could see the kerb line! He looked at me, smiled and shook his head. He was amused!

Needless to say, I passed my test on the 2nd occasion.

That car and I shared many trips after that, many involving the law. But it was written off by mum's boss. Pity.

RIP

Happy days.

Got pulled over one evening,

Reason, 'We are checking for stolen radios in cars'

Fine I said, help yourself, have a look.

Police women jumped in the car,

Boxer Dog in the back jumped on her!!!

Anyone who has met a boxer dog knows they are so friendly!!

Was so funny when she climbed back out covered in dog hairs!!!

She protested about the dog, but had failed to notice that he had his head out the back window looking at what was going on before she jumped in!!!

Her collegue was in stitches laughing at her.

Just to make matters worse for the police women, when asked for my address, her collegue said he knew my neighbour, he was his mate!!! That was it. No more worries.

lol, happy days!!!
