That would be my problem - you should usually leave your car in gear, do that with this and....

i saw it in the other post, looks good.

till you accidentally leave it in gear, or someone decides to take it for a spin ;)

Wont start in gear its not allowed (y)

Car is still locked while the engine is running, If someone tries to break in the engine switches off, Car is immobiliesd and the Alarm goes off. Good Technology.

How is it stopped when it's in gear out of interest?

my one don't allow remote start if you turn the car off without first engaging the Hand Brake.

This doesn't stop you from turning off the car while its in gear though so my one could still try and start but the Handbrake would hopefully stop it.

You can fit a Mecury Switch to Gear One or all gears so if the switch active the alarm will disable remote start.

Guessing the same way you can't start a car with an autobox unless it's in neutral or park.

My Range Rover was like that...

It's actually listed as a theft prevention measure, along with leaving the transfer box in neutral.

If they figure it won't start cos it's in gear, then then have to figure why it won't move when put into gear.

Two gear boxes, genius!!!!
