Hi. I need Tipo in my life :) allready have black seicento sporting and orange grande punto. Now its time for something oldschool.
Sedicivalvoe or Granturismo. May be non runner, project etc. Anything considered:)

All depends of condition. Willing to travel anywhere in Uk for right one.

Wow, looks nice but auto and £2000? That's more than optimistic I reckon! Would make a lovely ride tho.

It was £4995 yesterday! I tried convincing him he was on a distant planet, but he's still kept it at £4995 for weeks.

Bloke is an idiot, and won't answer my questions about the gearbox - does it work properly & does it creep at all in drive. At 90k it's very unusual for a cvt to still be around, and odds are it's about to go boingggg!

Worth a punt at 495...
Not worth the bother over 1K

The 1.6 wasnt great. And the CVTs only worked at low power outputs.
It was the 1.6 engined ones that broke first..fords and fiats.

AA badge hints at driven carefully for 27 years...
But first spirited drive may kill it.

I thought it was £495 too!

I preferred the 1.4, and yes a CVT lasting to 90k on a 1.6 must be a record.

You know me too well Charlie. That sounds like a prediction of what I'd do to it first time out!! :bang:

According to how many left there is just one DGT Selecta still registered. Is this that one? Looks in great nick and worth trying to save if the price was realistic. Presumably reconditioned CVT units no longer available?

You won't find a GT, AFAIK they never made it to the UK.

You might find a 2-litre 8V 5-door SLX somewhere if you're lucky, they were more luxury than outright sporty but had the last of the classic Lampredi twin-cam engines.
Who told you the GT model was never sold in UK? We had a demonstrator in red. Nice car, but no Sedi.
Here in Spain, seen a Tempra 2.0 Turbo. Cracking wolf in sheep's clothing.
Tipos definitely getting thin on the ground. But £4995 for any Tipo, is plain silly.
And stay away from the whinny horrid CVT model.

I see there is a Sedicvalvole on the Bay this morning at £500. Very little description though and no pics so far - lets hope some are put up!
Hang on, I sold my white mint Tipo, to a guy from Doncaster. Noticed the car has not been on the road for sometime, via DVLA. Could this be the same car? If so, it's the early higher powered version. That engine in that car was amazing! (y)

Pics and description are up now, that Tipo definitely needs saving! If I had space and a spare £500 I would be all over this one!

Not mine, but an early one, so full 155 bhp. Actually they made 161bhp. Needs a strip down and rebuild. A good project for someone. Come on lots want one. Wish I still lived in UK.
