Allready 2 years ago I fitted (original) interiour filter system in several Tipo's.
It's a half hour job en costs approm. 30 euro.
Advantage: No more dust in cabin and no more irritating old dry leaves in the airvents. You can find the parts also on ePER.
You need the filterholder and 2 plastic nuts and a new filter. Thats it.
Cheapest prices you find on eBay.de.
Succes!

This is interesting. Most cars these days have aircon and thus a filter, but this wouldn't apply to Tipos except the 'Liberty' model :worship: and I've often thought - unlike the person in the next car I'm breathing a jet stream of particulates through the vents

My post is for all Tipo's without airco. It will fit all models. 1988-1995

I agree and it is very helpful. Sorry I wasn't very clear - I meant that only the Tipo Liberty had aircon for the UK market. Other UK Tipo models won't have filtration, but this mod is the way to add it.

Nice idea and I'd fit one if it wasn't necessary to remove the wiper arms and plastic cover to replace the filter element.

First install indeed you have to take everything off. Advantage is that you can inspect and can clean everything. After a year or so when you want to replace the filter you can leave the wipers etc. and only loose a few screws and lift the plastic a little bit and you can go in with your hand and take the filter out and put new one in. If you did it once, it's easy

Thanks for the reply.
There isn't much that needs cleaning under mine, I fitted mosquito netting some years ago to prevent ingress of rubbish.

I'll definitely give it some thought and try to get a better look at fitting procedure.
