How the bloody hell do you change the windscreen wipers????
I must be totally stupid I cannot for the life of me see how it's done.
It's a 1994 - 1.4ie S - 3 door.
The wipers look like they are all one part of the arm, they seem to be connected together as one unit?
They look nice and streamlined, but I cannot figure out how to get them off???
No clips or hooks to pull and I didn't fancy yanking at them.
Is it just the rubber bits that slide out????
HELP please!!!

Yours is later than mine, but here is the guidance from the Mk1 Owner Handbook.

Yes you just change the rubber... but be very careful with the wipers cause they are one piece, the joints can fail and they're damn difficult and expensive to find now. A real MOT achilles heel for the Tipo / Tempra.

The Bravas / Bravos / Mareas had a more conventional setup with detachable blades... I don't know if anyone ever tried or managed to do an upgrade or swap....

champion do refills code-R51 thats what i have found best ones to use about 5 quids but getting hard to find now, you can still get whole arms but between 20 and 30 quid, use small screw driver to lever one side and slide out ,best to do on warm day as when very cold they do snap the tabs that hold rubber in place

Can you change the full arms by unbolting and swapping for something like the Brava/Bravo???

That picture is in my manual but mine are not like that.
Is mine a Mk2 (1994)????

That picture can't be right... it looks like the Brava type of wiper which I guess is quite standard these days.

For the Tipo just get the rubber refills with the little metal clip at the end. Slide in along the slots in the 1-piece wiper arm.

The end.

Yeh I've got those (Mk2) on my ebay watch list.
I was going to check on my car before ordering.
Will these deffo fit????

I may fit Mark 1 wiper arms to make life a little easier, if they will fit??

If you want to make life easier, why don't you just check with the ebay vendor, and just fit the right blades for the wipers that are on the car? I think their ad makes it pretty clear...

Unless your wiper arms are failing at the joints just stick with them.

Otherwise you'd prefer to try and find some MK1 arms AND the refills that go with them ????

I know, the garage said he would stick some new ones on when I take it in?
I keep forgetting about them until it rains - LOL.
