Hello all, you have a great forum here. Unfortunately I havent been able to find out any answers from looking through the threads so I'm hoping this post will help.

I recently got given a 1.4i tipo but the speedo is playing up. The speedo stoppped working ages ago says the previous owner. When I plugged in a new sender on the gearbox, started the engine and drove forward the speedo needle maxed out and stayed there, and the trip went round adding miles onto the dash clock.

I dont know whether its a faulty dash or whether its trying to add on all the miles that were missed when it broke?? I got two new senders and they both make the clock do that. Also the lights arent working properly, a couple dont work, Im thinking this may be connected to the dashboard failure. I dont know, I'd given up hope for an answer until I found this forum. I hope you can help.
