What vented discs can i get to fit a tipo, and what cars could i get the calipers from? Preferably to fit inside a 14" rim.

Would I be right in thinking the calipers from a 2.0 8v would fit, as the 2.0 16v need a 15" rim.

I got some Black Diamond Drilled & Grooved Discs from here, They may do vented discs aswell.

If there is no Tipo that comes with vented discs you'll have to change the whole set of components to fit some, this may include the wheels.

Got the calipers and discs off a 1.8 Marea.. straight swap! Could get them off the 1.8, TD or JTD on Marea/Brava/Bravo.

Got mine from a scrap yard for £30. Discs will then be £40 ish unless you get them off the car you got the calipers from. Pads are around the same price as for non-vented type.

Once I have my calipers painted I'll take a couple of photo's as it shows all the work I've done in there!

As for what car to get them from if you go to www.shop4parts.co.uk and search for tipo brake discs, find the 2.0 8v, I think the part number they show is S4P124 - then try other models and see if they take the same disc. Loads of cars use the same discs.

I think ill wait and see just how reliable mine is then may just follow your lead
