Ive noticed that when i put my foot down a bit i get a nasty smell in my car..at first i thought...oh no clutch!! But there doesnt seem to be any slip or drag...again any ideas? ive looked around for obvious things stuck to the manifold or exhaust.

might be leaves in the air vents.. or a dead animal.
Most smells come through the ventsm I had petrol smell through mine but that is because I was leaking petrol.
close all the vents to try and pin point the problem.

if its a pungent smell,then it is coolant.only need a tiny leak around the back of the engine piping/matrix for it to drift in the cabin.
