Hello Fellow Fiat Owners,

Although I currently own a 1.4 ies, reg A14 TPO which I purchased brand new back in December 1994. It now has 162k on the clock and is still going strong.

A couple of months ago I purchased a silver 2.0 "L" reg with 19.7k genuine miles on the clock. Apparently from new the clock on the dash has always been noisy.
The radio lacks a control unit which has deemed it useless, so I am looking for a replacement. The elderly lady who owned it passed away, and the people clearing out her house must have thrown the control unit out!

Can anyone help me please?

Regards,

They both sound great, Silver is such a nice colour for the Tipo....

When you say the "radio control unit" - do you mean the little removable panel that was fitted to the standard radio cassette?

Mine is still in use unfortunately on my venerable blue M-reg 1.4 ies 5-door...

The panels were key-coded were they not?

Otherwise you could always invest in a replacement head unit. Looking forward to hearing more about this silver 2.0.

Is it a grandeturismo or a Sedicivalvole?

of the 2 Tipo's I've used with analog dashboards, they both had noisey clocks.
