just wondered if it would be possible to fit alfa 155 front wings on a tipo??
bolt holes all seem to look in the right place from what i can make out in parts picture.

rumour has it that you can fit an entire 155 front end to a tipo, the later ones have more wider arches to allow for the wider track.

I'd imagine doors would also fit. so you could make a 155 hatchback.
would be different:idea: i just thought the wider arches would look nice and i would have to use the alfa lights but maybe have a grill made to fit.

i have both of those cars, so i can check it out for you in a couple of days if you want...

btw could someone make a photosop of that crossbreed (155 front end+tipo rear)? just wondering how it would look like...

sorry, man, couldnt make it last weekend, i'll try to check it out asap, but you'll have to wait a few more days...

well its like this... the hight of the wings is pretty much the same, but alfa wings are some 4-5 inches longer... so is the bonnet...

but here is a pic of a tempra fitted with 155 front end... i think only the bumper is from tempra (not sure though), bonnet, wings, headlights and the grille are alfa's

hope this helps

I guess that made sense, was trying to do a photoshop and the wing seemed longer, and harder to fit onto a tipo, though it wasn't just that, trying to find two cars the same angle seemed difficult so i put it down to that

being longer though i guess it'll be possible to shorten them to fit.

that tempra looks good (y)

oh yeah, where the alfa "heart" would of been, also the strip is missing under the lights as well. but overall looks good! personally i don't think much of the looks of the standard tempra, but a few small tweaks is all that's needed really fortunately.

It vas made on one tempra in Bosnia
I will upload picture wenn i will have 5 posts
and inside is 2.0TS from alfa :D

so what about buying a lancia thema ferrari engined

then putting a alfa 155 or tempra front end on your tipo and dropping this beast of a engine in??
do you think it would fit with the extra space?:)

From all the reviews I've seen the 2.0 turbo in the thema was the better engine.

but it's not a Ferrari V8.. also imagine it would be a much smoother fast rather than the turbo'd 16v though.

In terms of size, it actually looks as though it may fit.... might need slight modifications but i doubt it'd need a lot of cutting to fit. the mainproblem though would be buying one in the first place.
