Technical Fiat Tipo 1.4 ie 1994

hello all, new here so bare with.

i got a fiat tipo 1.4ie......and rescently become very sluggish when accelerating.....ive been told i need a new air filter by a mate (whos a trainee mechanic) and i thought as im buyin a new one, i might as well buy a sporty one.....K & N .........ive been on theyre site but can only find the filters for 1.6 > upwards

i was wonderin if the air filter is the same size as is in my car........242mm long........any user manuals floatin around or anything ?
