Hi

Over the last 2 days when starting the car up it either cuts out when i go to pull away or when idling. Also when driving the car it has cut out a few times but it mainly seems to loose power in 1st and 2nd gear at low revs the car seems to judder and have no power then the power seems to kick in. When the car has warmed up it seems to still judder when pulling away.

Anyone had similar problems or know what the problem is?

does it occasionally loose power if you try and accelerate. seen other cars with that problem and it turned out to be the cam/crank position sensor having a duff wire not sending the right signal, therefore mucking up the timing and injection. might be worth a look, think they are usually attached to the block and point on to the teeth of the timing belt.

Usually, that kind of juddering is done by defective pump or filter fuel. Did you already checked the fuel pressure at the injection rail?
