Hey

My dad's got a customer who has a Tipo 16v and he is looking to sell it because he wants something newer.

He drives about 2 miles a day down the road, and he's had it since brand new. He's an older gentleman so it hasn't been ragged lol

It's 1992 and has only done 34k, is completely standard as far as I'm aware apart from a full respray recently...

He has offered it to us but doesn't know how much they're worth, and after scouring the internet I havn't found much help so I'm hoping you can give me an idea of what I should expect to pay!

Thanks in advance
Darren :D

Thanks for the quick reply!

Just out of interest, whats insurance like??

insurance through directline/elephant all the usual companys is quite pricey for me, but if you're 21+ you can get a classic car insurance on it.

if it's a 92 on a j plate you don't need to run a catalyst i think...

you need to check the belts have been done etc but it sounds pretty good. pics?

forgot to say through adrian flux or chris knott i got my insurance down to a good manageable price! and i'm 20. with 2 years ncb.

Yeah my dad knows a thing or two about cars so he'll look it over first before I buy it, and I'll show him the buying guide that was pretty useful thanks

I just turned 21 so that' pretty useful, I'll look into the classic car insurance! Unfortunately I've just renewed my insurance through Direct Line on my Probe I have at the moment, mainly because they gave me the best quote on a 200sx S13. My mates just got one and took me sideways and I'm kinda hooked lol but having been offered this it's probably more sensible for my budget. So I'll only get it if it's really worth it...the fact it's a kind of 'wolf in sheeps clothing' car rely appeals to me, but i'm kinda looking for a RWD...

I don't have any pics unfortunately, the bloke lives miles away and my dad didn't think to take some when he was there lol

Thanks for your help, I'll be sticking around for a while!
