I would welcome any help with ideas re noises from what I think is from the front suspension on my 1989 Tipo 1.6 dgt. When the ambient temp. is cold this is especially obvious when going over bumbs in the road. On warm days and when the car is driven on a long trip there is no problem. Sometimes I wonder if it is an engine mount. Have replaced the front struts with original Fiat items. Noise still there. Could it be rubber stops at strut top mount or sway bar bushes (Subarus do it when cold) Have also tried Munro "originals" on the back, but alas the compression damping was uprated to much so they sit on the shelf. Got some original Fiat items of a wreck. Anybody found after market items that give a good ride ?
Would appreciate any help with either of these.
Don.

Sounds like antiroll bar bushes, and/or track control arm bushes. The bushes could have hardened in cold whether, try polyeurothane (think that how you spell it) bushes if they are available

Thanks Alex, I'll have a close lok at those bushes.
