Newby to forum, and not really knowledgable about all things Fiat yet.

Tipo 1.4 ie, N reg

However, my Fuel Pump broke a week ago, and my local mechanic is having great difficulty tracking down a replacement in the UK. Any tips? He is going to try and source a second hand one, but if he were to go abroad, are there European retailers for this one could recommend.

Go to the Loanhead scrappies, plenty of Tipos there.

Should be able to get a 2nd hand fuel pump for a few quid.

It tends to be muddy though, so bear that in mind if you are going to remove it yourself (or your mechanic) ie: take a mat.
