hmmmmmm anyone want to know how to do this? you just undo the bolt and remove the drivers side wiper then undo the bolt holding the passenger side wiper and turn it. bearing in mind how far it goes and it what direction:rolleyes:

hmmmmm maybe not but my drivers side wiper failed again today, the bar connecting to the other wiper came off, i managed to fix it with a bootlace (as i had done last time with string) but it came off again when i got onto the dual carriageway and rested on my mirror!! so after another 30mins trying to sort it out again i gave up hit it with the bar that was no longer connected a few times then thought about doing the 'single wiper conversion' so tryed it and it seemed to work ok to clear enough of the windscreen to drive relatively safely. luckily i have put some of that rain clear stuff on my windscreen before but sadly not within the last month. it was ok on the motorway, most of it was low speed as both the M4 and M5 were almost at a standstill. the worst bit was when the car in front was doing 60ish for about a mile but going slightly faster than the inside lane so spray was bad(n) but at 70+ the water just runs straight off!!

ANYWAY sorry for the long bit, just wondering as to whether it's a common fault as it's happened to me once before in the last year or two. maybe the wipers are too big for such a feeble wiper set up? if not i'll just fix it again either way i'll keep a spare connector handy in my ever growing 'spares'

Seriously though, did this work as a single wiper conversion wiping the whole screen? Looking for some easy blingy mods I can diy on my Sedic? It sounds like your 'conversion' may have only been wiping half the windscreen?

yes it only does about 2/3 of the windscreen and was only to get me home, its definitely not suitable to be done permanently.

LOL - I'll find a way - it's been 10 years since I had my last Tipo and I'm stunned now by the lack of styling stuff available for it - even on ebay.it! - I'll see if I can make something up then make a post :)
