Hello people. I have a tipo 1.4 i.e.S 93-94.
I drives good, i like it and you know all the good stuff.
For the past 2 months what is been frustrating me is a misterious voltage drop.
The car will run as normal, alternator voltage 14.2v but once in a while, 2-3 days, voltage drops, lights dimm, battery goes flat.
If i switch it off and jumpstart it or push it, runs ok for a min and then the voltage drops again.
Next day if i push it again will work as normal and then it will do the thing again maybe after 2-3 days or a week.
I've checked the connections from the alternator, battery-ground and visible wires.
It is really frustrating, I go to a garage, they test: battery OK, Alter OK wires OK. It never does the problem when i can go to a garage. grrrrrr
