Dazzo asked what have we all been doing. Well the Sedici and I have been to Enfield Pageant of Motoring - in so much rain we nearly drowned, the M25 was indeed a swimming pool. However my car did meet up with a new friend!! Yes thats another one and a very tidy 1.4!!

Hello again............Rich - sorry old chap not sure what your post meant - perhaps I am being thick. The owner of the other black teapot is Malcolm, the North London Area organiser for the Fiat Motor Club, the 1.4 belongs to his daughter. There was also a 127 Palio there belonging to my pal Gavin and we were hoping for 1 possibly 3 more Sedics for a "group photo" - how sad is that !! But rain stopped play.

MIKE

Ps - Some more information on the "scotish" twin would be useful - I will get Malcolm to come on the forum to check it out

well right now the scottish twin is in bits as some previous owner put kent cams in and did all sorts with the engine and it never ran properly and he sold it. i've had it for almost a year and a half in my barn/shed. right now i've just been grinding valves into a new head, they're .

its only done 57000 miles and its extremely clean!! i've known where its been for the past 4 yrs or so and thats mostly in garages in the dry lol

anywyas will keep you updated on progess and when its fxed will try to get to some fiat meets for a photo!!

Hi its malc here the owner of "the hooligan" L 42 sws nice to know that its stable mate is still around by looking at my ones pedigree Service history and theres plenty of it my one was first used by (0)Fiat Fleet in the greater manchester area then went north to (1)cannock staffs then onto(2) Halifax then over to (3)pontifract/wakefield areas then south to (4)bedford than further south to (5)caterham in surry than finally onto me(6) it was bit of a basket case needing a new exhaust manifold and flexipipe, new discs and pads f/r. the second gear syncrocluster was shot to hell reqiring a new gearbox factory supplied not the cheapest of options, but at least it has a full warranty as it was supplied by my local fiat dealer while i was at it i also had fitted a new clutch assembly changed a few service items and the car runs very well, just passed its M.O.T no major problems needed to repaint and underseal the floor near to the roof drains I wont disclose how much this all cost but it took me seven months to complete the work.:)
