Hi all I have spent the day messing with the car and finding out what the guy i bought it from failed to mention when he sold it to me... I could complain but i got a car with 12months MOT and 63K on the clock for £500 so i am just being a prat.



the battery managed to get me home before not having enough charge to turn over the starter... so i stole the battery from the Punto as it looks to be the same spec. 340ah 12v 063type. So I guess those electric windows, powersteering and central locking come at a small price.

The main concern at the moment apart from the Rover wheel trims is the exhaust... sounds very sporty which is nice, but a quick glance under the car



bit dodgy that... so much toothpaste around.

well i need to source a replacement ready for when it decides to fall right off.

Norfolk the armpit of hell !! Dazz, you obviously have not visited some of the scum estates around the country. I wont mention any, but they are notorious for no mans land after dark!!

Ok, i have placed a classified ad to this effect but i thought i would ask where it might make the most noise.

I have managed to accidentely bin the alternator adjustment arm (top mount) from my car... So as it provides the tension for the timing belt it is sorely missed...

can anyone help me out and post it asap... as i need to get the car moving this week.

Oh and can someone with eper dig out the part number for a 1994 3door Tipo 1.4 ie for me ... I use a apple mac and it doesn't run for me.
