Hello all, it’s been a while since I’ve posted (2002 Fiat Stilo 1.9 JTD MW days!). We have a 2018 Fiat Tipo s-design since new and driving it recently a lot up and down the m-way I notice a very fast, squeaking sound, like rubber on metal and it’s rather annoying now and I can’t seem to quite figure it out? Maybe, suspension top mount, door seals? I suspect the boot or tailgate may be rubbing? Also, when I close the rear doors, there is a rattle that seems to be coming from underneath the car at the back.
I’ve searched this forum and online but I can’t find anything.

Start by checking around the door seals if they are loose whe the the doors closed

As for the rear noise try Kay on the floor under the rear while somebody's shuts the door a few times may help you find the location

Gummi pfledge all the rubber seals,mine is the same,I normally do it every couple of months

What he said ^^^ my door seals squeak, gummi pflege shuts them up. If you gently push the door tops on mine you can hear them creak until they get the gummi, afterwards…silence.


I did have the door card creak, the clips go into rubber lined holes and one was dry. Little silicone grease shut that up but it was obvious what that was, it only did it when I rest my elbow on the door card (or pushed on it)
