Hi, I've just recently brought a 2018 tipo s-design I was under the impression it had carplay/android auto. It has the 7" HD nav radio installed. I've drove two similar models with the same screen installed. When I connect my phone with USB I get either a 'file transfer error' or very occasionally I get some random demo type music playing.

Does the model I have carplay? Is there something damaged like my USB port? I have tried different cables and a different phone but still nothing.

I was just very under the impression that it would have this due to driving two very similar tipos in the past. Currently I can not access the uconnect live services due to being locked to the previous owner, could this be stopping me from accessing anything with the USB?

Any help will be great!
 
Mine just works as soon as I plug the lead in. Are you sure previous phones aren’t still linked into the car?
