Hi All,

First time posting, but was hoping someone might be able to offer some assistance.

I just bought my Tipo Street and am currently enjoying the car, but find it annoying I can't link my phone to listen to some music, as there's no Aux connection.

I managed to find a replacement for the USB input for an Aux/USB version (image attached), as the aux connection for it still seemed to be behind the trim.

However, when pressing the media button, the stereo says that aux is not detected.

I checked the wires at the back of the stereo and it seems to be connected to the right pins.

Does anyone have an idea of what i'm missing?

Assuming you have a smart phone you should be able to connect via usb and play the musice from the device this will also allow you to changes the songs via the steering wheel and radio controls as you can't do that via aux

Well if i stored songs as MP3's then yes, however I use apps like spotify, soundcloud etc, so it doesn't work like that.
