is this an easy fix and do I take it to a fiat dealer or can any garage do the repair

I Think its the glass because of the sound it made and the electrics still work when I press the the button but it does not come up

Hello Billmo and welcome to the FIAT forums.

Sorry to hear you have had an issue with a mirror. As Chris said, most elecric mirrors are of a similar set-up.
My SAAB ones were held in with a piano-wire- spring. I've found others are simply bonded in with a kind of two-sided adhesive tape. Having said that I'm not familiar with how FIAT ones are.

Have you tried gently 'assisting' the mirror with your hand as you motor it back up? Could be the mirror glass has become detached and is jamming. I've had similar snags that have 'fixed themselves' probably due to some dirt or debris in the works

I know this is a little off topic but I have a question, when I press the button to wind my drivers side window up/down it's one press and the window continues to move until you press to stop, the passenger side doesn't do this you have to keep your finger on the button, can this setting be changed to match the drivers side?

Thanks.

Unfortunately not at least if there is nobody has found a way of configuring this
It may be possible via some sort of custom proxi configuration but there's a lot of riskh with that
