Good morning all!!

Since I got my Tipo 1.4 T-Jet a few weeks ago ive been looking into remap and suspension upgrade options.

It seems none of the major players such as Superchips, Evolution or Quantum will touch the Tipo with puts me in the hands of the laptop cowboys which I really dont fancy at all.

Worse still no one seems to offer decent suspension upgrades and I dont want to just put lowering springs on as I dont think this will help the ride or handling at all.

Has anyone got any suggestions or dealt with any companys they can recommend? Im in the greater Manchester area.

Cheers

Steve

Looks good, very good colour!

There seem to be no Tipo tuners at all.

I think the Tipo is based on the Mito/Corsa chassis, so there may be someone who can help the chassis. I think the steering needs recalibrating first, there is no feel at all!

Moving from a std Abarth 595 to a Tipo 1.6 Multi-jet the lack of steering or chassis feel was the biggest thing to get used to, and probably explains why the front tyres are wearing quickly. I think the understeer is killing them.

Engine wise, there must be Abarth tune-ups that could give more power, but the chassis needs to be sorted first.

Its just not a driver's car. Its not a bad car, easy to drive, comfortable. Better than the reviews suggest.
