Hi all

I'm picking up a 2017 Tipo 1.6 diesel (the 'Station Wagon', I believe it's called) in a weeks' time. This will be my third Fiat, after a 2004 plate Idea and then a 2011 plate Panda. Both were very reliable cars clocking up over 100K miles.

Just wondering what your thoughts are on the car and have you had an issues or are there any things to be aware of? It seems like a lot of car with a very good spec for not a lot of money.

Any comments/advice much appreciated :)

I agree they look good value, just be careful as they all seem to be ex daily hire cars from Avis or Eurocar hire (says something like EVAC on V5). I paid £100 to have a red 1.6 Lounge estate one moved down to a car supermarket Motordepot in B'ham, but when I went to inspect it I was not impressed and rejected the car. It must had been offroad and had dented sills and a bonnet that didnt line up on one side and the service book was from another Tipo. In fairness they were fine refunding my deposit but were not going to fix the sills.

They drive OK my son now has a 1.6 M/jet Lounge hatch and is happy with it after having a 2008 Corsa 1.4 sxi petrol.
