Hello Everyone,
I've not long acquired a 2017 Tipo 1.6 diesel estate with 35000 miles on the clock. I've noticed that the horn isn't working, I've checked the fuse which is OK but wasn't sure of the relay location and the horn itself.
The garage I purchased it from isn't close by and I thought I'd do some invest before going to the dealer...

Thoughts on the car so far, it isn't too bad to drive although more tyre noise than I was expecting (the previous car was a Mk3 Renault Laguna estate which has been written off after a crash). I think maybe the front tyres might be the culprit. It pulls pretty well when at motorway speeds, too early to see what the real-life MPG figures will be.

1. Does anyone know where the horn and relay for the horn are located as I can do a quick test at the horn connector?

2. Should there be a noise when you lock/unlock the car from the horn?

3. Are there any issues with poor electrics associated with the horn on Fiats?

Many thanks for your help. :)

Howie.

No noise when locking car just flash of indicators if selected in settings.

Cheers for that.

I've had another look, there is no power at the horn Fuse, F10. It sounds like the relay is working as you can hear it clicking when the horn is pressed (I swopped it over with another one to confirm).

Hi,
The car has been sorted, the horn itself needed changing and was sorted under the warranty.
I got myself confused as I couldn't see power at the fuse... I should have checked it when I pressed the horn!

Cheers
