Does anyone have any clue what the knocking noise could be from the front of my tipo only seems to do it when travelling below 30mph but is not continuous and there is no obvious signs of any mechanical issues.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi, i have same issue.

Knocking appears twice only when accelerating and imminently releasing the gas pedal.

Car service told me that transmission needs to be replaced. Car has 35k km only so its sill within warranty.

Seems like the knocking is coming from differential.

Hi, I had a drop link ( I think this is the correct name) replaced at 24,000miles because of similar noises. Now, at 28,000miles the second link is being replaced. The noise is most noticeable at 20/30mph on a "jiggly" surface, and it is hard to say where it's coming from, but my local garage mechanic is certain of the problem. I'm not very happy about this because in the past I've covered well over 100,000miles before replacing these parts.
