Noisy wheel nuts

Driving my new Tipo in the sunshine with my window open and I notice a rattle coming from the wheels. Sounds like a dog collar rattling . Turns out it’s the little chrome covers on the locking wheel nuts. They are a “loose” push fit and if you tap them they rattle. Thinking of putting some sticky tape inside the covers to quiet them down or maybe removing completely .Anyone else notice this?

Re: Noisy wheel nuts

Update... took the locking bolt out and it turns out the rattling is caused by the spinning ring on the bolt.
