Just bought a new tipo and while fitting a dash cam noticed under the glove box there seemed to be missing a felt cover? There are wires and the heater /cables etc all exposed to the footwell.. Should there be a cover? I will check with the dealer next week but wondered if any one could check theirs to see. Thanks.

Just had a look and mine and there is a cover under the glovebox, but mine is one of the early ones being a 17 plate, i know the specs have have changed (upgraded sat nav etc) recently so ithey may have saved money by deleting it !

Thanks for that... I did wonder if it was a cost saving thing. I will check with my dealer.[emoji106]

Hi,
Which fuse did you use for the Dashcam as all of the fuses under the Dash appear to have permanent lives?

There two rows of fuses there's
They are hard to see with how burried they are but I think I used on on the right hand side of the boxm

Please tell me more which one did you use?

Can't remember I'll try and have a look tomorrow if I can see without removing the entire glovebox and frame assembly again

No worries, I notice that there are some other fuses referenced as well in the glove compartment area.

F1 - 7.5 A - Front Door unlocking drivers
F2 - 7.5 A - Front Door unlocking passenger
F3 - 7.5 A - Rear Door unlocking L
F4 - 7.5 A - Rear Door unlocking R

All sorted now. There was a 2nd row of fuses not listed in the book and hidden from view. For the average person if one of those pops, it will be a dealer job. :bang: What were Fiat thinking when working on the right-hand drive model?

Regards,

Hello, sorry to re-open this old post. I have the same question with my Tipo. Just noticed it today. Did you went to your dealer?
