Technical Tipo 4 door 7" UConnect Subwoofer install

Dear Forum Members!

Have any of you added an aftermarket amplifier to your Uconnect 7" system?

I've already ordered my new car, will arrive early next year and I'm planning to upgrade the factory 6 speaker setup by simply adding a subwoofer in the trunk (active subwoofer or a sub+amp combo, dont know yet).

My main question is that where will I find the "brain" of the audio system? Is it behind the glovebox or i need to disassemble the whole dash to find it?

I just need to connect a high-to-low adapter to one of the speaker cables and find a 12 volt remote cable. Do the factory radio have a 12v remote out or i need to get my signal from a fuse?

Has any of you already done this and maybe can provide some pictures so i can plan my setup and order the tools I'll need.

ugh... let the dealer do the job for extra 100eur/gbp. I know dyi is always fun and satisfactory... but new model... or search through fiat 500, 500x, 500l forums.
they have the same Uconnect system. Tipo is too new for this modification.
