I have a 1.4 Tipo Lounge station wagon in Elba blue on order. Here I will do a detailed log every 1000 miles about it, good or bad. Can't wait for it to arrive and I'm like a kid at Christmas. It isn't my first brand new car, but my third. Hopefully it won't be long before it is here. Watch this space as they say.

Great to hear that you plan to give regular updates (y)

There have been a few people post to say they're buying or have bought a Tipo but apart from a couple from Pandabloke I've not seen many updates so far :(

I've seen 3 Tipo hatches and 1 Station Wagon so far (excluding all the rental cars running round). 3 dark grey Lounges (including the SW) & 1 red Easy Plus, from what I could tell.

Is your 1.4 the 95bhp or the T-Jet 120bhp?

Welcome! :)

Mine is the 1.4 95hp. Currently I have the same engine with 140hp and to be honest, I don't use or need the extra oomph.

My updates will not be biased one way or the other, totally impartial. If it is good or bad, you will read it here first.

I think mine will be the first Tipo in or around Aberdare as I haven't seen any others. When I test drove one I did notice people looking at it. When I got back to the dealers, I asked if they had sold many as I had people looking at it. Sold a few, but not many and that was in the Pontypridd area. Should have sold a few more by now I reckon.

Thank you to all those who have viewed this thread. Sorry there are no pics yet.

Had a letter from Motability informing me that from 19 September 2017 I am not awarded the enhanced rate of mobility, so this means that my Jeep Renegade has to be handed back on or before 14 November 2017.

I made a phone call to PIP to see what is going on. Bear in mind that when PIP was DLA, I got full mobility and low care. Now I don't get nothing. Zilch. Not even low care or low mobility. So now I have to start an appeal. My support worker is coming out tomorrow and hopefully the PIP letter will be here as well. The PIP letter is dated 18 August and today is 24 August. Usual British efficiency again. If they posted it 19 August second class then it should be here by now. As I said, usual British efficiency.

I have sent a pic of the letter to the Fiat dealer as my new car is due soon. What happens to that, I don't know. I'm waiting for Dan at the dealer to get back to me. There was me looking forward to getting a new car soon. Oh well.

I still want the Tipo as I have set my heart on it. How long an appeal will take, I have no idea. Fingers crossed that I am successful with the appeal and that I can have the Tipo.

Hi. Did you get your PIP appeal sorted and your new Tipo? A friend of mine is going through the same process and it seems to be taking forever. Very unsettling and stressful. Good luck!
