Hi,
About month ago i got my new Fiat Tipo SW. So after driving it on daily basis, I'm on 4500km now and ready to share my opinion or answer any questions you might have
Model: Fiat Tipo Station Wagon 1.6 Multijet (diesel) 16v - Lounge, colour:White
Before I was occasionally driving Ford S-Max 1.6 Ecoboost - usually on longer drives, since my wife used it on daily basis.
First feel with Tipo was less prestige (that was expected since S-max is totally different price range) and steering is better with S-max; Tipo has little more space on steering wheel, therefore steering feels more responsive with S-max. That being said, to my surprise overall driving experience is more pleasing with Tipo and it started to get under my skin (in positive way) very quickly.I think this is because steering wheel feels better under my hands (it's better shaped) + control buttons layout (details) is also better to me. Also driver seat is more comfortable and it feels better on body when going/driving to corner + i guess I just feel better when driving diesel (btw: it's my first diesel).
*Most used functions: ecodrive, navigation, adaptive cruise control.
*Diesel usage: 5,9 - 6.0L / 100km. My ecodrive score is currently 86, but usually is around 82. My daily run is interurban ride ( Slovenia: Domžale <-> Ljubljana) and I'm getting this usage with very reserved driving - keeping to slow lane, slow acceleration, trying to foresee the traffic in front, basically just easy and calm driving .
*Functionality, button positions etc. is great and easy to reach & use.
Long story short: for now I'm very pleased with this car and i really enjoy driving it. It's kind of already grew to the heart
