General New Fiat Tipo problems

Hello to everyone
I am new to this forum and fiat cars.
I have bought the new tipo a month ago..I have passed 1000km and already having problems with the car.The TFT display keeps blinking after the software update they did and the fiat service told me that there is no solution for this problem yet.Does anyone has the same problem or similar experience?

Welcome to the forum

This section of the forum is for the classic Tipo so I suspect most of the people here would have no idea unfortunately. In all honestly, this is a mainly UK forum and the new Tipo hasn't even reached us yet.

That said, the TFT software is likely to be very similar to that used in the 500/500L/500X so you could try asking in those sections

after 5 posts you can add pictures of your new Tipo.

maybe start a "Members Motors" thread ,
until the new TIPO section is rolled out, it could well be the best platform for your car..,

problem with tft display solved.Fiat got the new software an from what they told me mine was the first car with the issue.Writing from inside the fiat service waiting for the paperwork.Car workin perfectly

The Fiat dealership is called automobile sk. It's about 2 miles from the center of Skopje.Easy to find.

I see from the TV ad's they have launched the new Tipo in the UK. Not seen one here yet but have just returned from Italy where we have been on holiday for three weeks and seen a few on the road over there and close up in a car park.

Nice looking little car, could be tempted if we ever need a small five door hatch in the future. (I'm sure I saw one with a boot too but I could be wrong)

Have to admit the UK TV advert is SO boring. Makes you feel they can't be bothered to sell it by the way it's done.

I had a similar problem with Tipo, TFT display on board. On entering a car and starting engine, it was completely dead. After turning off the motor, and several minutes of waiting, when I opened the door again, display is working again. This happened two times.

Today, I went to FIAT service and I got software updates for free, they told me for motor unit also. So I will see if that solves.

I've got Tipo for 3 months (08.07.2016).

Imao sam isti problem,pre updatea...zadnjih 4-5meseci je sve u redu posle updatea.
