General Zorst melting mudflap!-ideas?

Aup, was wondering if anyone can give me any advice....
My zorst keeps melting my mudflap,i have cut out the flap where it lyes closest to the zorst but it still manages to melt it! If i cut out any more it will look naff, Does anyone else that has mudflaps fitted have this prob? and any ideas on how i could fit it so's it dosnt happen?

might have to fit a heat shied or heat wrap on the zorst

I've just left mine to melt. Its how i shaped it round my exhaust. It stopped damaging it after a while
