i meerly joined in on the coupe petrol diesel rant,just pointing out why in my opinion that petrol punto gt (in my opinion) is better than a new remapped diesel, when you have taken parts off ie-turbo,elbow,exhaust,ecu,fuel pump,fmic,cam ect and replaced them with performance parts and actually done it yourself you get satisfaction knowing its all your doing.and feel proud so obviously have to defend your sideup until recently the diesels were winding me up as the astra cdti was creeping past me up hills,but now i ease past, i just got you lot to watch out for on the next convoy,i don't like going over 70 mph....in second gear anywayi live near city road in sheffield, get yourself down to the exhaustuk monthly meet at there unit near medowhall its the last wednesday in the month that would be next wednesday the 25th.at least i wont be talking to myself

I wouldnt mind going to that, I emailed them for a quote for an exhaust and they never got back to me though. Kinda put me off a bit
i'd probably have a trip down aswell as i could do with a nice free flowing exhaust for me turbo

You can fit a bigger turbo to any engine with enough cash

i just want a straight through piece welding in where my centre silencer currently is...
well on the gt people have fitted the t25 off rover/nissan ect.I suppose with one to play with it would be possible to source a cheaper alternative,with bigger compressor ect.You can fit a bigger turbo to any engine with enough cash
