Yellow Exclamation in Windows 7

I'm a Mac guy here so excuse me if I'm being silly, I use my Windows PC for various things occasionally and today I noticed a yellow exclamation mark in the task bar, when clicked on or right clicked on it does nothing. Haven't noticed any unusual tasks in Task Manager so I'm not sure what it is/means.

Just to point out this isn't the Windows update logo/sign
I'm running a virus scan at the moment but does anyone recognise this.

Looks dodgy, I'd do a scan with spybot S&D too.

Microsoft Security Essentials came back with no viruses, will download spybot and give it a go.

hover over it , its often just telling you some thing you already know

I was hoping it was something simple like that when I first noticed it but it doesn't seem to be part of Windows, hovering over it displays nothing, neither does clicking/right clicking on it do anything, which is why I feel its some form of malicious software.

After installing Search and Destroy it seems to have gone, if I hover over the S&D icon in the taskbar it says X number of blacklisted processes but I can't get it to show me these processes so I can't narrow it down to what it actually was, I don't really know my way around S&D, anybody got any pointers?

Run ESET online scanner and tell it to scan everything including archives and processes.
