General Year vehicle build

Hi I’m picking up my fiat Ducato base motorhome in March 2022 and concerned if it may be older base build than 2022 so how can I tell the year month ect was built just been worried with COVID and things this fiat base may be a year or two older

Many plastic trim parts have a date code moulded into them in an inconspicuous place. An example would be the flap that covers the fuses/obd socket under the dashboard. OK, that gives you the date the plastic was made, but these things tend not to be kept in stock for long before being used.

Considering the amount sold, its not likely to have been in stock for a while. Does it really matter anyway?
You could just ask it nicely when it was built
(Using something like MultiECUScan it will report back the ECU build dates, when the engine first had oil, how long certain modules had power etc).

Obtain the vin . Enter vin into online vin decoder fingers crossed will tell you build date
