Has anyone tried a 55w kit? I am thinking to install one but i'm afraid of the extra heat. I've heard that it can destroy the projector...

I currently have a 4300k(fan of oem style) color kit and my left lamp became purple ?? nearly for two weeks now. So I thought installing a more powerful kit instead of changing a lamp. It was a crappy kit anyway...
Thanks for the reply!

I am running a 55w HIDs without any issues. The only challenge was getting the bulb's to stay in place with the retaining metal clips as they were very stiff....a pair of pliers later and they were in - snug as a bug in a rug.

Had 55w on my old Bravo. No problem on overheating. BiXenon projectors. They were 50% brighter in reality and as advertised. Just level the lights corectly, or else you will burn someones retinas.

I run Xenon 55W in my Bravo. No heat issues. I can have the HID bulbs out, halogen bulbs in headlight units in about five minutes.

Worth fitting for the extra light output. Halogens are dim compared to HID 55W bulbs.

I run aftermarket 55w in my bravo is perfect no overheating issues only when i try to start the car with lights on 1 of the 2 bulb dont work when turn the ligt off and turn them on everything is oke again..

my wires are not holding up before the 55w HIDs went in.

had part of the wires replaced but the wires does get stiffen up after 9months of usages.

projector lens seens okay so far

light is alot brighter than any Halogen bulbs.
