I'm in the process of fixing up a 2006 X250 2.3D that I got cheap as it had 'engine issues'. That was maybe a bit of an understatement, but the engine is now rebuilt and nearly ready to go back in. The last major thing I need to fix is the fuel lines. The previous owner for some reason cut them off the fuel filter :bang:
I don't have any pictures right now, but they are cut a few cm from the plastic connectors that goes in the green/black plastic filter - I was able to unclip them without any issues, so who knows what this guy was thinking...
Is there anything I can use to securely join the connectors back to the fuel pipes, or do I need to replace all the lines? The engine is out, so it's relatively easy, but I was hoping to save a £££.
