Whats the name of the front bumper lad? It looks nice. I have an Abarth one on the front of mine but im not liking the holes either side. Yours looks well nice.
Also the 50mm drop, have you the original shocks on or shortened bodied ones?

It was the standard active sport bumper. The fog lights have been removed and smoothed over also the two small pillars above the number plate are gone :)
Nope standard shocks, 50mm is about the limit really. Any lower then I'd have upgraded the shocks

ok got the grommet through do i need to take the panel inside the car off first? is there any guides for this?

Yes mate the plastic panel has to come off. I think theres 2 screws then some plastic clip things.... Just pull to get these out. It'll be obvious what to do then. Erm I'm not sure, check in the guides section

that parts £25 trade tops with the pipe
wish i could get away fitting just that part for 80 notes
i would be sunnin it in spain till october

I bought a new mid section, gasket and clamp. Fitted it myself, came to about £17 in the end :)

Local exhaust place quoted me £80 for a new one fitted

Holy **** and I paid £80 haha, one garage quoted me £120 and I had to book it in!

Ooh unlucky mate, I do as much as I can for precisely that reason, £63 saving :p Suppose you didn't have to mess about under the car on a Saturday morning tho!

Yeah true! Glad it was done, it was drinking my fuel, I was only doing 29mpg and now it's been done it's only doing about 32/33mpg if lucky, I used to do 40mpg, Don't have a clue what's wrong with it!:L do you find your 8v enough power? Because I think my 16v is slow as a slug compared to other cars!

Whatt?! that seems a bit low mate. I average about 44mpg without trying to drive efficiently or anything.
Yeah I find it fairly nippy. It's obviously not in comparison to everything else but I wouldn't call it sluggish

It depends what you compare it to, of course... -- but I'd be really concerned: as I struggle to get lower than very top thirties in my 16v; and usually average low-to-mid forties (recently getting over 50 mpg, on a motorway trip... -- measured/calculated; not just going by the display... -- this after changing the breather hose, and running on my fifth consecutive tank of super unleaded...). The car also goes like stink, when necessary....

Sorry to hijack the thread: but when were the leads and plugs last changed; and the oil and air filter... -- i.e. when was it properly serviced...? Have you checked the condition of the breather hose? Have you tried reading for codes...?

Unless you drive with your foot permanently planted to the floor, there's something fundamentally wrong, somewhere....

Ive literally tried my best to get 44mpg mate! Ohh right, mines a 80bhp and my mate had a 56plate grande punto 69 and beat me! Haha really don't want the car anymore I've had nothing but problems with it tbh and might get rid of it when I get my 1years no claims and maybe get a Ford Fiesta Zetec S with the Montune kit on it hopefully!

I'm comparing this to my mate Renault Clio sport and he does 32 mpg and thats as much as what I do sometimes and his car is a 2.0ltr!

When you say the breather hose, is that the air intake pipe?:L it's been like this since I've had my new exhaust done with ats! Just been drinking the petrol, I filled up £20 yesterday where I got half a tank and I only did 75 miles and now it's on E and need filling up again, it's doing half the mileage I would do when getting good mpg!

And yeah having my car serviced in 3months time with my mot!
