Traditionally I reserve New Years Eve as my night of the year for drinking, although I may be tempted this Saturday, due to a party. Don't like much alcahol, but I usually go for Double Whisky and Dry Ginger, but on new years eve you have to order two each time otherwise you spend the whole night at the bar. I actually quite like most Mudshakes, which is surprising as I can't stand Vodka and I like Bailey's with or without Ice. The Bailey's smoothies or whatever they are called are also quite palatable. I can put up with Bacardi and Coke or Malibu and Coke, if I have to, but definitely no pints or I would spend most of my time in the loo. After my holiday this year I also found that there are a few cocktails I like, such as coconut colada, pina colada or strawberry or banana daquari's, but I get the impression they wouldn't be quite the same in this country.

Becks and Stella let you know what your drinking, Kronenbourg and Budweiser are kinda sweet so give amateurs confidence but then the 5+% vol. kicks in and they talk pish after 6 pints and I laugh!
