I've now got loadsa baby mice!! One of my mice, Fender, gave birth this morning. Not too sure how many babies there are but I know this is gonna cause me major headaches for the next few weeks :(

Anyone actually want any mice?

i bred some mice while i was at college - they were well cool - the dad was called billie and he was really tame, i wasnt allowed to keep them so i had to give them to a mate at college otherwise the college would have killed them for snake food

How many do they normally drop at a time?
I haven't opened the nest box yet as I don't wan to disturb them. With a torch I counted about 7, but there could be more. They are well tiny! They're squeaking away as i type!lol

I'll probably end up with another litter in another 4/5 weeks  Looks like they'll be going to a pet shop as I can't afford to keep that many

Unfortunately Gaz, I don't feed them cheese like on cartoons. they have seeds and hamster mix. Occasionally treat them to dried fruit and nuts

Awwwwwww how cute! No pics yet then? Hubby and I used to breed russian hamsters (for snake food :() and they were so cute when they had just been born all tiny and pink and squeaky :). I would love one of your mice but knowing my luck I would forget to feed it :(

My 3 cats would love me to say yes Sie
A couple are in the post for you now!lol

They're being really squeaky today and the father has been exiled out of the nest box into a corner of the cage, poor guy

stick a couple in the post for me to sie.. i dont live too far from you, im sure they'd survive royal mail ;)

why don't you both come along :D

If you're serious about wanting a couple, you can have them for nothing. just give me till the beginning of february to make sure they're ok to go to new homes :)

that sounds cool, been thinking about getting some more mice, as havent had any for awhile. il be a good surrogate mom ;)

I don't mind what happens to them after i give them away but I wouldn't be able to hurt them myself. People have told me to drown them, put em in a bag and hit it with a hammer and even let them go at the riverside but I'd feel awful.

Trev, Just let me know closer to the time(y)
