Been having trouble wiring everything together. has anyone got any pics of there amp, sub and power cap all wired up, stuck big time!!

What are you having problems with? Couldnt be any more non descriptive about your problem if you tried.

Why wont i need the power cap?

Everything is wired up but the power just isnt going to it for some reason ? i cant work it out . i dont know where to screw the ground cable to .

lol it wont work if you dont have the ground..... the circuit is still broken. Have a search, theres loads of detail on this forum about amp wiring.

Because power caps are a waste of time and cause more problems to a system.

No wonder it aint working if you havent ground it lol

I run my 7" screen, amp and sub without the engine on or a power cap for over an hour and better is still sweet.

What car you got, work out where you can ground it

I have a 1.4 active sport. Grounded to the back seat ?

The remote wire i have attached to the blue wire at the back of on my after market headunit is that correct ?

My old active sport i attached my earth to the boot catch. my sporting now it is attached to....some bolt on the rear quarter

Its the figure you want to pay attention to not peak like you will most likely be quoting. What subs are they?

I have a 4 channel 80 rms amp

So your gonna what bridge it to make 2 channels so 160rms each? You wont be draining any batterys on that power.

Your asking all these questions to a novice! i bought the 2 subs amp and power cap all of my cousin who sold up all his gear to sell his car. so i honestly done know alot about this. The plan was to wire it all up and for it to work but turns out not that simple. I dont know about bridging i asume it has already all been done

Yes a question about what subs they are is solid. What does it say on the front of them?
