wiring Punto mk2 front door speakers

Hey silly question i suppose but how can you tell without taking things apart which wire is the positive and witch the negative? Im asking coz im putting in some new speakers and i've taken out the old ones with out remebering which wires which, also there just raw wires without spade or s connectors on.

any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Take a multimeter (or voltmeter) play some music and without touching the wires with your bare hands (unlikely chance of a shock BUT you never know) see which reading changes/increases and this will be your positive wire. That's the only way I can think of I'm afraid! Hope this helps!

They well may be marked on the speaker or on the terminal itself
