Hi. New to the site and trawled all over for a simple question with not much luck. I have a 2002 model which came to me with no radio. I have a replacement radio now (which has a wiring code on a sticker on the unit) and the correct socket but I have no handbook for the car. Does anyone have information, or a diagram, of the wires on the plug so I don't fry either of these things? Much appreciated.

Update - I 'might' have found one on the downloads page. It's the standard handbook for this model. However, is there anything else I should be aware of?

Just watch the permanent live and switched live.

When fitting an aftermarket stereo you can have it live all the time leading to battery issues.

Use your test lamp to check.

I thought that if the plug fits then it should be standardised?

Im probably wrong though...

Did someone chop the old plug off the car?

Hello all!

I’m struggling with my sei’s radio, the permanent live and the switched live both got permanent 12 Volts on it, what could be the cause according to you?

Kind regards!
