Technical Wipers

My intermitant wipe today started playing up. When it has done a wipe the wipers then stop about a cm before there resting place and judder down in three scaping jolts to the bottom, they then wipe again and do it again & again. All fine on normal wipers as they dont have time to stick. Any ideas, is it just the cold?

Sounds related to my problem a while back

was a bad earth on the drivers light if I remember correctly and what I was told wasnt BS.
