General wipers

just brought a 96 punto 55s just to get to work and back, unfortunatly the windscreen wipers have stopped working, i brought a new stalk and they started again for couple of days, now gone again, any suggestions to what could be the problem?
im a car noob btw!

just put in new fuse they working again?!?!
like b4 they worked for awhile with new fuse but it blew it, think prob will again, any suggestions why?
wire shorting somewhere or could it be summut else?

Probaly the wiper motor itself drawing to many amps.

should i change size of fuse?

No!! you would have to change the motor. Fuses are there to protect the wiring from over heating and setting on fire. Always replace the same fuse with waht come out/or look in manual for size.
