Technical wipers and heater blower

My front and rear wipers plus my heater fan stopped working at the same time. I've checked and there is'nt a power supply to the units. Its not the fuses. could it be a relay, as the Haynes manual says power for these units comes via the ignition didhcharge relay. My Local Fiat garage says they have never heard of this relay and dont know where it is.

My heater blower stopped working and when I used to turn it on the dims came on instead. Under the glovebox (passenger side) there is a little black connector type thing it has 3 wires coming in and out of it. It hangs on to the side of a big black circular object. Try taking the black connector apart and check the connectors inside mine were melted with plastic and when I scraped the plastic off the fan worked fine after. Hope this helps. Sorry I dont know the names of the objects but it shouldnt be too hard to find just slip the carpet down on the passenger side at the back and check it out.Its worth a try sure.
