Technical Wiper stalk fault

I dont know if this has been asked before but my stilo has an intermitant wiper fault sometimes it will work without a problem then it stops working completely for a few days then it works again does anyone no what it could be any advise would be much appreciated thanks

All sorted it was the stalk was at fault so got a replacement and all works fine again did find some old threads on here which helped

Dam I was just about to say get a new stalk as well.
