hi. i'm after the 3 way valve that splits the washer jet pipe to feed both jets on the windscreen. the one i'm after is the first one on the line, that firstly feeds the drivers side then T's off to do the passengers side. i can't think of the name, so i can have a look on e-bay.the one i've got has a hole in the diaphram, so water comes out of the little hole on the top.

cheers

3 way valve, dont you just mean the T piece?
plumbs into the washer pipe, splits off to the driverside and splits off for the passengerside?

I think this is a non-return valve, as it holds the line pressure from the water bottle, to this valve after the last application of the pump. So the next schoosh of the washers, the line pressure is present right next to the washers, hence quick application of washers. If this is replaced with a Y piece, it will feel as if your pulling the washer switch for ages before the water hits the window. Should be able to get one from the scrappies, or buy new.

Halford, ebay, any motorfactor really sell them. Even B&Q will have them.

so thats what they are,non return valve.
the 1 had leaked from the bottom as there was a hole in it :s
just replaced with a norm T piece, does the job.pick um up for a pound if that from any car shop or hardware shop.
